The U.S. stock market has been range-bound so far in 2015 with the S&P 500 Index gaining a modest 0.4%. The same cannot be said about the international currency and fixed income markets. Given the strange times we live in, we believe an unconventional asset allocation is appropriate for most investors and especially our clients. As you know, we are heavily invested in high-quality, dividend-paying U.S. stocks while avoiding most fixed income investments and international stocks. We believe this gives clients the best chance for long-term success in meeting their goals while significantly reducing short-term volatility.
