Richard T. Keating, CFA, oversees the day-to-day management of client portfolios. Pablo Cavanagh, CFA supports Richard with portfolio management and research. Ana I. Keating manages all office activity and client service with the help of Jessica Gulbrand.

Richard graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in History. In 2011, he was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the definitive standard for measuring portfolio management and investment analysis competence and integrity. Mr. Keating has held an interest in investing since his childhood and had the pleasure of learning investment philosophies from his father, Jeff, throughout his life.
Pablo Cavanagh

Pablo grew up in Argentina before moving to Florida. Pablo completed the prestigious International Baccalaureate program in high school before earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida. He then went on to receive a master’s degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Economics from Florida International University. Following his studies, he started his own Registered Investment Advisor, LVR Research, in 2015 and along the way earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. At LVR Research, Pablo manages separate accounts focused on long-term appreciation and periodically uses derivatives to manage downside tail risks. Pablo is recently married and enjoys offshore sport fishing in his spare time.

KEATING | OPERATIONS MANAGER AND TREASURER
Ana Keating graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She went on to obtain a Masters in Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In her most recent roles, she worked as a program manager for two Fortune 500 companies: L3Harris Technologies and United Technologies Corporation (Pratt & Whitney). At L3Harris, Ana was internally focused in managing a team in the construction of satellite antennas. As one can imagine, building something for space requires the complete elimination of mistakes through rigorous procedures.

Jessica Gulbrand was born in Panama City, Panama. Her father was in the U.S. military which led to frequent moves in her childhood. She spent her high school years in the U.S. where she played volleyball and basketball. Her family eventually settled in South Florida and Jessica attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Jessica received a degree in Real Estate & Marketing, graduating in 2010. Following high school, Jessica became a mortgage broker and worked in that industry for two decades before joining Keating Investment Counselors in August 2022. Jessica’s background has made her excel at helping clients complete paperwork and servicing their various needs. In her spare time, Jessica is a season ticket holder for the Miami Hurricane’s football team and a frequent guest at Disney parks and cruises with her brother Sean. Jessica is also involved with the Gold Coast Down Syndrome organization in Palm Beach County.
